I doubt they did stop at every Dinosaur Light Christmas Shirt house. However, I don’t imagine just one year is enough of time to really get over anything that traumatizing. Think of it like this, you just blew off all of your toes on your right foot on accident. Now you need to learn to walk again. You are given a year to do that exact thing. Expecting someone to learn to walk perfectly, let alone run, within the span of that amount of time is a bit ridiculous. It’s just a matter of giving someone the time to try and get back on their feet. But I suppose when someone like the neighbor comes along this slows down the process detrimentally. So now, basically, you have someone laughing at you every day making fun of how slow you are at walking while also mimicking the fashion in which you did lose all of your toes.
