Is it stupid when the inconvenience of getting it on (especially with certain types of hair and beards) outweighs the benefits to that person of taking it off? How do you, a third-party observer, weigh the inconvenience/benefits to a total stranger in a car? Should that person take into account your judgment of something that you acknowledge is utterly harmless? This is probably only my personal reason but I have found it really helpful to continue to wear my mask while driving because I have a really nasty habit of chewing my nails while stopped at lights etc.

I’m not offended, triggered, or upset, I’m curious and find it odd. There could be a very good reason for it, doesn’t make it less odd when seen in passing at 30 mph or faster. And if the last thing I did was enter my bank and touch the ATM then go back to my car without washing my hands? Or pick up my to-go dinner order? Until I wash my hands they shouldn’t go near my mask or face, so how do I remove it in the car?
