The original ds and dsi games, especially the gen 3-5 Pokemon games and the Mario and Luigi RPGs. Even just comparing black/white and X/Y, they moved from amazing looking 2D to mediocre-looking 3D. I know that it was hard to make the change in graphics and they still did really well, but personally I think the 2D games on ds ones looked way better than the pixelated 3D ones on the 3ds.
